Not to lose weight necessarily… I definitely need to… but to simply get healthy.
The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer is out from under the cupboard. Saturday, my daughter helped me juice a carrot, apple and a handful of strawberries. It was delicious!
I’m trying to eat more salads and replace veggies (raw is better) reduce my meat and potatoes intake. It isn’t easy.
Last night we ordered from the restaurant Chili’s. It would’ve been so easy to order the high fat sandwich and fries. Instead, I ordered the Quesadilla Explosion salad. Yes, it does have “salad” in its title, but from what I understand, it isn’t THAT good for you. But I’m trying. I’m taking baby steps. I just have to keep it up.
So in an effort to keep up with my progress, I’m going to try to start making healthy foods. And when I do, I’ll post a recipe, just like the one below. There’ll be fattening stuff in them too, but like I said. I’m taking baby steps. I’m
